Fake Binance "$150 compensation" reward after the hack
Last updated
Also known as: Binance $150 compensation scam, Binance Reward Hub phishing link, Binance cash voucher scam, Fake Binance withdrawal suspension refund
The Scam
After a security incident in which hackers tried to steal more than $6 billion from Binance, scam accounts began circulating fake promotions and screenshots claiming users can claim a free $150 compensation reward, often with links telling them to check a "Reward Hub" or claim compensation, according to U.Today and DigitalToday. Binance co-founder Yi He said on X on Nov. 1, 2026 that there is currently no cash voucher campaign, that the community rewards campaign needs regulatory approval before it goes live, and that users should be vigilant against all phishing and scam links. Interim CMO Eowyn Chen said there is no separate compensation for the withdrawal suspension.
